About this file
This document provides the technical specifications for a remote controlled sonar vessel to be used in a state or local government contract opportunity. The vessel is approximately 34 inches long, 12.5 inches wide, and 11.5 inches high, constructed of .095 5052 marine grade aluminum with a watertight lexan-windowed lid, stainless steel hardware, and various components including motors, propellers, sonar unit, GPS antenna, batteries, chargers, and tools for field repairs. The vessel includes a side scan sonar unit with a 9-inch screen, wireless ethernet bridges, and a 2.4 GHz RC radio for operation. The contract requires the vendor to provide six spare batteries, two spare rudder shafts, two spare propeller shafts, a carrying rack, and two watertight cases for storage, as well as one day of free training.
The document does not provide details on pricing, set-asides, incumbents, funding sources, or other salient information beyond the technical specifications for the remote controlled sonar vessel itself. The contract opportunity and related procurement process are not described.
