About this file
This document is a Relevant Experience Form for the City of Pasadena's Request for Proposal (RFP) for Managed Detection and Response (MDR) services, with Project ID 2025-RFP-0516. The form requires proposers to provide detailed information about five distinct customer engagements demonstrating experience delivering MDR services comparable to the city's requirements. Specifically, the proposer must document at least two engagements with public sector or municipal clients and at least two involving hybrid or cloud-native Microsoft 365 environments with co-managed, tenant-resident MDR operations. The city is particularly interested in engagements using Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, and Intune, with endpoint populations of 2,500 users and 2,500-5,000 devices, and a focus on operational maturity, including playbook development, tuning, and knowledge transfer.
The form provides a structured template for bidders to comprehensively detail each engagement, including client information, project description, years of service, number of users and endpoints supported, MDR model used, key Microsoft technologies implemented, and a narrative description of the scope of work and outcomes. The document emphasizes the city's desire for long-term relationships with measurable outcomes in detection, response, and risk reduction. Each engagement must be described in terms of onboarding processes, detection and response capabilities, co-management practices, and strategic or operational outcomes achieved, with the option to attach additional pages for more detailed explanations.

Relevant Experience Form
Instructions:
Each proposer must provide a summary of at least five (5) distinct customer engagements that demonstrate experience delivering Managed Detection and Response (MDR) services comparable in size, scope, and structure to the City of Pasadena’s requirements.
Of these five engagements:
• At least two (2) must be with public sector or municipal clients
• At least two (2) must involve hybrid or cloud-native Microsoft 365 environments with co-managed, tenant-resident MDR operations
Note: A single engagement may be used to satisfy both the public sector and tenant-resident criteria if applicable. However, the overlap does not reduce the total number of required engagements - proposes must still submit five distinct client examples in total.
The City is particularly interested in engagements that reflect:
• MDR operations using Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, and Intune
• Endpoint populations of similar scale (e.g., 2,500 users and 2,500– 5,000 devices)
• Demonstrated ability to support operational maturity, including playbook development, tuning, and knowledge transfer
• Long-term relationships with measurable outcomes in detection, response, and risk reduction
