RECORDS AND INFORMATION MANAGEMENT (RIM) SUPPORT SERVICES

STATEMENT OF WORK

PR # 2014-7662

1. PROJECT TITLE: Records and Information Management Support Services.

2. BACKGROUND: Customs and Border Protection (CBP), the Office of Information and Technology (OIT), Management and Governance Directorate (MGD) operates the CBP Records and Information Management Program (RIM), hereafter referred to as the “Program.” The Program manages and monitors progress for the implementation of CBP records management and information assets for all CBP Mission and Business offices.

CBP is an information-centric organization – the more accurate, timely, secure, and accessible its information, the more effectively its workforce can protect the American people and facilitate legitimate trade and travel. Preservation of government records ensures accountability and transparency to the public and enables CBP to leverage business intelligence to make fact-based decisions. As CBP’s most basic and essential asset, and in common with any other business asset, recorded information requires effective governance.

3. SCOPE: The SOW provides for how the contractor shall meet the needs of the program. The purpose is to provide professional support to the CBP OIT RIM program, as outlined in the table below, for a full spectrum of information governance, records management, process development & sustainment, program management and reporting, and communications activities necessary to maintain the Program’s ongoing operations.

The table below provides an overview of the specific expertise and skillsets required to complete each set of deliverables. While the Government anticipates that these disciplines will be required to accomplish the SOW (at a minimum), the contractor shall provide personnel suitable to accomplish the work as defined as per the below table. The stated FTE (full time equivalent) for each labor category is a minimum and additional hours may be necessary to accomplish the tasks.
