About this file
This email chain is a communication between City of Tampa personnel from the Purchasing Department, Logistics & Asset Management, and Fleet Maintenance regarding Diesel Engine Repairs and Allison Transmission service contracts. The bid solicitation covers labor and materials for diesel engine repair services for City of Tampa vehicles, with key stakeholders including Inger Welch (Procurement Analyst), Jeffrey Hajdu (Automotive Repair Center Supervisor), Kevin Matteson (Fleet Operations Supervisor), and Grace Bedinghaus. The discussions focus on finalizing bid specifications, confirming prebid requirements, and reviewing technical details for the service contract.
The email exchanges reveal internal review and approval processes for the contract, with specific discussions about facility requirements (such as accommodating a 60' tiller ladder truck) and mileage reimbursement rates for vehicle transportation. The participants are collaboratively resolving contract details, with Jeffrey Hajdu reviewing and providing feedback on bid documents, and Inger Welch seeking confirmations from team members. No specific contract value or exact term length is explicitly stated in the email chain, but the communications suggest the contract is in the final stages of preparation for municipal fleet maintenance services.

Kevin, As discussed, Diesel Engine Repairs is good as is no need to add to section 6.4 as stated below.
Also, Allison Transmission Overhauls Exchanges and Repairs bid does not need a prebid.
Please confirm this email. Thank you.

Sorry for the delay, Yes they look good to me. Here is my only recommendation.
Diesel RFP – 6.4 the facility needs to be able to house a tiller ladder truck which is 60’ in length.

Jeff, Diesel Engine Repairs has a prebid should Alison have one too?
Sent: Thursday, January 23, 2025 1:12 PM To: Inger Welch <Inger.Welch@tampagov.net>
Yes I’m good with them except for the Cost per mile for driving the vehicle over 25 miles. The adjusted number was included in the comment.
Thank you

Jeff, For both bids are you good with them as is? If so, can I remove the highlights?
FYI I have revised the changes you just reviewed
