About this file
This is a Rate Sheet for laundry services submitted by the California Department of Veterans Affairs under Solicitation Number 26VS0005. The contract requires the contractor to provide twice-weekly laundry and linen services for food preparation, nursing, and housekeeping departments, as well as emergency laundry services at the Veterans Home of California - Ventura, located at 10900 Telephone Road, Ventura, CA 93004. The contractor must supply all labor, materials, staff, transportation, licenses, permits, and other necessary expenses to perform the services. The rate sheet requires bidders to submit all-inclusive pricing per pound for two service categories: twice-weekly laundry services estimated at 1,600 pounds per service cycle across 312 annual cycles, and emergency laundry services estimated at 100 pounds for approximately 10 instances annually.
The pricing structure requires bidders to enter dollar amounts for cost per pound in the designated yellow-highlighted sections, with failure to provide pricing for any item grounds for quote rejection. The State reserves the right to modify actual service volumes based on facility needs, but awarded rates remain binding throughout the contract term and any formal extensions. All proposers must certify compliance with Government Code 19134 wage and benefit requirements, demonstrating that employees performing services receive wages and benefits equal to or exceeding eighty-five percent of California's cost for comparable state employment benefits through direct benefits provision, cash payments in lieu of benefits, or a combination thereof. The submission of the completed rate sheet is mandatory, and any alterations to the document will result in automatic rejection of the proposal.
