Trinity Dam Intake Mechanical Equipment Refurbishing / Gate Shaft Refurbishing (Phase 1)

Solicitation R15PS00790 | Specification No. 20-C0824

Question and Response No. 13

Question 13:

There are no electrical specifications and locations for the power supply of the EOP system. We need a location of the panel as well as distance to the Bonnet Chamber for the EOP in order to hook up permanent power.

Also how do you want the conduit ran? From the top of shaft down, from the powerhouse along the penstock, and through that bonnet chamber wall, etc. Do you have size of wire spec out to account for the length of run?

Response 13:

At this time, the Government envisions the permanent power supply for the EOP system to be from an existing panel or outlet located in the Gate Service Chamber at approximate elevation 2365. The

EOP system electrical design requirements may affect usage of a panel or outlet.
