About this file

This document is a Change Order Notice issued by the Illinois Department of Central Management Services (CMS) regarding the Joint Purchase Master Contract (JPMC) 18-416CMS-BOSS4-P-376 for Drugs and Pharmaceuticals. CMS is extending this contract for six (6) months, from October 1, 2020 to March 31, 2021, to allow for the completion of the solicitation process for a new contract. This extension will enable using agencies, governmental units, and/or not-for-profits to continue leveraging the State's buying power for these life-sustaining and other drugs and pharmaceuticals, without a lapse in coverage.

The original Notice of Award for this contract was $936,213,009.00, and the estimated spend since inception is $409,983,221.30. This extension will be at no additional cost, as it is a time-only extension. The change order is necessary due to circumstances that were not reasonably foreseeable at the time the contract was signed, and the extension is germane to the original contract.
