About this file

This document is a Change Order Notice from the Illinois Chief Procurement Office General Services regarding a contract extension for a Joint Purchase Master Contract (JPMC) for Dish Washing Supplies. The JPMC, identified as PSD4018023, provides dish washing chemical compounds, concentrated rinse additives, concentrated lime solvents, and other supplies for automatic dish washing machines to using agencies, governmental units, and/or not-for-profits in Illinois. CMS is extending this contract for an additional 3 months to allow for the completion of the solicitation process for a new contract. The original contract value at inception was $2,905,139.84, with $987,015.74 spent since the start of the contract. There is no additional cost for this 3-month extension.

The extension of this contract will allow the current users to continue to leverage the state's buying power for these dish washing supplies versus making individual small purchases at a higher cost. This extension is necessary as the circumstances necessitating the change were not reasonably foreseeable at the time the original contract was signed.
