About this file

This document is a Change Order Notice from the Illinois Department of Central Management Services (CMS) regarding a contract for the purchase of state flags. CMS is issuing a time-only contract extension from September 14, 2020 to December 14, 2020 for the existing Flags Joint Purchase Master Contract. This extension will allow CMS to complete the competitive solicitation process for a new contract while avoiding a lapse in coverage for state agencies and qualified non-profit organizations to purchase Illinois state flags, U.S. flags, IDOT flags, and POW/MIA flags. The existing 3-year contract was established under solicitation 228556 with PBC 17-1072040 and is set to expire on September 14, 2020. CMS is extending the contract with the incumbent vendor, WGN Flag & Decorating Co., to bridge the gap until a new contract can be awarded.

The contract extension will continue to be available to governmental units and qualified non-profit agencies to purchase the required flag items. No pricing details or set-aside information is provided in the document. This appears to be a routine contract extension to maintain continuity of service while CMS completes a new competitive procurement process.
