About this file
This document is a Change Order Notice from the Illinois Department of Central Management Services (CMS) regarding the extension of a contract for casual footwear with Shoe Corporation of Birmingham Inc. CMS intends to extend the existing Casual Footwear PSD4018268 Master Contract from August 24, 2020 through December 31, 2020 to avoid a lapse in coverage while a new competitive solicitation is completed. The original four-year contract with Shoe Corporation of Birmingham Inc. had expired on May 24, 2020, and a 90-day extension was previously executed, which will end on August 24, 2020.
The contract extension will allow governmental units such as State Agencies and not-for-profits authorized to continue obtaining casual footwear during the interim period until a new competitive solicitation process is completed. This change order is being issued pursuant to Section 33E-9 of the Criminal Code, as the circumstances necessitating the contract extension were not reasonably foreseeable at the time the original contract was signed.
