About this file
This document is a Change Order Notice from the Illinois Department of Central Management Services (CMS) regarding the Casual Footwear Master Contract PSD4018269 with Kar Wing Trading Co Inc. CMS is extending the existing contract from August 24, 2020 through December 31, 2020 to avoid a lapse in coverage while a new solicitation is completed. The original contract had a four-year term that expired on May 24, 2020, and a previous 90-day extension is set to expire on August 24, 2020. This extension will allow additional time to complete the competitive solicitation process for a new contract.
The Change Order Notice indicates that this is not a new competitive solicitation opportunity, but rather an administrative extension of the existing Casual Footwear contract held by Kar Wing Trading Co Inc. The contract extension will enable governmental units such as State Agencies and not-for-profits to continue obtaining footwear under the existing Master Contract terms while the new solicitation is finalized.
