About this file
The document provided is a Notice of Award Form for an Invitation for Bid (IFB) issued by the Illinois State Police (ISP) for the purchase of all-hazard trace detectors. The contract was awarded to Fisher Scientific for $131,990.00 with a term ending on 12/31/2019 with no renewal options. The IFB process resulted in one responsive and responsible bidder, Fisher Scientific, being selected as the lowest cost provider.
The Notice of Award indicates there were no Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) or Veteran-Owned Business (VOB) participation requirements, and the successful bidder did not meet any set-aside goals. The contract is funded directly by the Illinois State Police, and the award decision was based on the agency's determination that the pricing and proposed solution from the sole responsive bidder was reasonable and in the best interest of the state.
