About this file

This document is an Emergency Extension Notice relating to a state contract in Illinois. The Department of Innovation and Technology (DoIT) is requesting a 180-day extension to an existing emergency contract (CMT2026698) with Presidio to provide Cisco products, maintenance, and services needed by DoIT and other state agencies. This emergency contract is a JPMC contract available to governmental units or qualified not-for-profit organizations. The current contract expires on 06/20/2023, and a new contract will not be in place before that date, hence the need for the extension. The extension period would be from 06/21/2023 to 12/18/2023.

The contract is related to an ongoing RFP process for VoIP and Cisco equipment and services (P-51275) that was published on 09/30/21. The RFP bid opening date was 11/24/21, and the evaluation process has been delayed several times, with the current plan to award the contract by 05/15/2023. This emergency contract with Presidio will be used until the new contract is in place.
