About this file
This document is a Q&A response related to a Request for Bids (RFB) issued by the University of Wisconsin-Madison for Translation and Interpretation of Languages services (RFB Event No. 2024-UWMSN-00722-RFB). The RFB covers mandatory written translation and interpreting services for content related to four University of Wisconsin Extension websites, with an expected annual spend of at least $20,000. Bidders must respond to all mandatory service categories, which include Spanish and Hmong translation and interpreting, though additional languages are considered a plus. Responses must be submitted online by the specified due date.
The RFB does not allow for bids on translation services only, as both written translation and interpreting services are required. Pricing is to be provided on a per-word or per-minute basis, with no separate charges for desktop publishing or graphic design. The University has no incumbent suppliers for these services and is not tracking volumes at a granular level, though they expect a significant amount of work related to their Extension websites and programming.
