About this file
This document is a Request for Information (RFI) seeking industry input on providing Secured Courier Services, including armored car and armored guard courier transportation for bank deposits and other accountable/controlled items.
The RFI requests information on the vendor's corporate processes for managing shortages of armored guards, handling funds not deposited, insurance coverages, whether the requirements are clearly identified, performance measurement options including incentives/disincentives, procedures for recovering lost/missing deposits, and whether the vendor's policies allow for signing a government contract. The related federal contract opportunity is a pre-solicitation for Secured Courier Services to be provided to the Department of State Office of Acquisition Management. The RFI seeks to gather industry feedback to help refine the requirements for the future solicitation.
