About this file
This document is a "Questions for Industry" request related to a federal contract opportunity for the Ammunition Demolition Shop project at the McAlester Army Ammunition Plant in Oklahoma.
The key details are:
- The government is seeking industry input on the proposal evaluation factors, construction schedule, market conditions, and required information in the request for proposal. Specific areas of interest include whether the technical evaluation factors are too restrictive, what additional information would assist with creating complete proposals, and the appropriateness of the construction duration.
- The government is also interested in understanding industry challenges related to the project location, proposal development, and actual construction, as well as the pros and cons of including a risk register in the proposal.
- Additionally, the government is seeking feedback on the required information and drawings needed to develop a proper price proposal, as well as any elements of work that could be optioned out. This is a special notice request for market research purposes only, and no contract will be awarded from this request.
