About this file
This document contains questions asked by potential bidders for a digital surveillance system project for the Crestwood School District in Dearborn Heights, Michigan. The project involves the installation and/or licensing of digital surveillance cameras, network video recorders (NVRs), and associated equipment. Key details include: the IT department's responsibilities, required frame rate and video storage duration, RAID configuration, existing camera models, provision of POE+ switches, allowance for system expansion, building access hours, and potential add-on pricing for new wiring if required. The project is located in Wayne County and the City of Dearborn and is tax-exempt.
Regarding pricing and other terms, the document indicates that POE+ switches will be provided by the school district, and that the NVRs should be capable of supporting future expansion, though a specific camera count is not provided. The project will allow for a pre-bid walkthrough for layout and planning if the bidder is awarded the contract.
