About this file

This is a Questions & Answers document and Addendum No. 1 for RFP No. 24-80141800-RFP issued by the Florida Department of Management Services for Mail Services. The Q&A document addresses 56 vendor questions covering topics such as mail safety screening requirements, postage handling, facility locations, courier services, pricing structures, and equipment requirements. The addendum announces two major revisions: a complete replacement of Attachment A (Scope of Work) and Attachment C (Cost Proposal), with all references in the original RFP now referring to these revised documents.

The document provides clarification that all mail services categories must include mail safety screening, warehousing/storage is not contemplated in the RFP, and customers may not extend purchases beyond 48 months after the Term Contract ends. Key pricing details indicate that contractors must provide maximum rates inclusive of all costs for services like Production Print, Copying (Color and Black/White), and that individual agencies will request quotes for their specific needs within the contract scope. The Q&A confirms that mail processing facilities may be located out of state and that document composition pricing should refer to the revised Cost Proposal's Mail Processing Tab.
