Questions and Answers

Cleanable Square Footage Confirmation

The Performance Work Statement identifies the following approximate areas to be serviced:

· Administrative Building – 4,141 square feet

· Public Restrooms – 1,408 square feet

Based on these figures, our understanding is that the total cleanable area is approximately 5,549 square feet. Could you please confirm whether 5,549 square feet represents the total cleanable square footage under this requirement? – That is the correct square footage.

If additional floor plans, room schedules, or area breakdowns are available, we would greatly appreciate receiving them. – Attached is the floor plan for the main building and public restrooms. Shelter 2 public restrooms are separate from the rest of the building and other public restrooms.

2. Service Schedule / Religious Observance

The Performance Work Statement indicates that janitorial services are to be performed Monday through Friday between 4:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m., excluding Federal Holidays.

Could you please confirm whether performance during Friday evening is mandatory under the contract requirements? Additionally, can you confirm whether any services are required on Saturdays? – Friday cleaning is mandatory at the public restrooms. The Admin building can be cleaned between Friday evening through Sunday evening. The cemetery can work with the contractor on a schedule.

For religious observance, our operations are unavailable from Friday sundown through Saturday daytime. If Friday evening or Saturday services are required, would the Government consider an alternative schedule whereby the affected services are performed Saturday evening after sundown and/or Sunday while maintaining all required service levels and facility readiness standards? – Public restrooms must be cleaned Friday evening, but we can work with the contractor on the schedule for cleaning the admin building.

3. Current Contract Information

To assist us in developing a competitive and realistic quotation, would you be able to provide any of the following information, if available?

No previous Janitorial contract.
