About this file

This is a Questions and Answers document for the Illinois Department of Agriculture's Bureau of Building and Grounds solicitation for heavy duty tractors (ID: 25-406AGR-BLDG4-B-45852). The document addresses two specific questions regarding the specifications of the tractors being sought: it clarifies that the required 180 HP refers to PTO power (with the tractor needing approximately 225 HP engine power), and provides a definition of automatic stabilizer bars, which are described as components that prevent 3-point hitch attachments from swaying side to side.

The document does not contain any information about pricing terms, set-asides, incumbents, funding requirements, or other financial details. The related opportunity indicates that only electronic submissions will be accepted for this competitive solicitation, as per CPO Notice 2023.12, and paper responses will not be considered.
