About this file
This document is a Questions and Answers record from vendors in response to RFB # SP-23-118 for Parking Lot Maintenance services at an unnamed University. The scope of work includes crack sealing and infrared patching services for parking lots identified on Attachment C, though the specific lots requiring maintenance will be determined based on cost and budget constraints. The contract will provide ongoing maintenance capabilities for the University's parking infrastructure, with vendors selected to address both immediate maintenance needs and future contingency work as issues arise. Contract terms, including the duration and renewal options, are specified in section 3.6 of the solicitation documents.
The University's procurement approach indicates flexibility in project scope contingent upon financial resources, meaning not all identified maintenance activities may be completed during the contract period depending on available funding. The Q&A exchange reflects vendor inquiries regarding specific work locations and contract structure, with the University clarifying that maintenance work is necessary but will be prioritized and scheduled based on budgetary considerations throughout the contract term.

Parking Lot Maintenance
VENDOR QUESTIONS/ANSWERS
1. QUESTION…. Could you let me know which parking lots would need the crack sealing and infrared patching?
ANSWER: The University is currently looking at the parking lots that are listed on
Attachment C for maintenance but will depend on cost and budget.
2. QUESTION…. Is there any work that needs to be done currently, or is this so you have a contractor to go with when things pop up? And then how long would this contract be in place for? Year by year, or is this like a 5-year contract for example?
ANSWER: The University’s parking lots need maintenance, but it will depend on the cost and budget as far as what will be completed during this contract. Please review contract terms in section #3.6.
