Question 2: What color should the door frames be painted in the ground floor?
Answer 2: The original references are:
Doors: Valspar R95C, Ode to Joy, Eggshell finish
Trim: Valspar Foxtrot, 7003-3, Eggshell finish
Question 3: Is it necessary to leave access to the ground floor ceiling?
Answer 3: No, providing access to the ground floor ceiling is not required.
Question 4: Application of mesh and spray — is this included in the Scope of Work?
Answer 4: Yes, this requirement is included in the Scope of Work. 2.2.8.3 Apply mineral wool mortar and nervometal mesh to the ceiling, and specified walls around the evacuation hall, covering an approximate area of 65m². Total area shall be verified by the contractor during the site visit.
Question 5: Does the new ceiling on the upper floor need to be fire-resistant?
Answer 5: Yes, the new upper floor ceiling must be fire-resistant. The solicitation will be amended to include this requirement under section 2.2.8.8 of the Statement of Work.
Question 6: What color should the upstairs doors be?
Answer 6: The doors on the upper floor must be white.
Question 7: Do any doors require ventilation?
Answer 7: No, the stairwell doors are not required to maintain ventilation.
Question 8: Are we responsible for installing the light fixtures and detectors in the new upstairs ceiling?
