About this file

This document contains questions and answers related to Bid B-43162. The state agency has clarified that they will not accept a different quantity or size of particle board blanks than what was originally specified in the bid request, which is 250 pieces of 4'x10'x3/4" particle board blanks equaling 10,000 square feet. The agency also confirmed that furniture grade is not acceptable for the 1x4 and 1x6 lumber, and that the requested quantities of 150 and 250 refer to board count rather than board feet. The state indicated that the bidder does not need to include labor for delivery or transportation of materials to the second floor, as a freight elevator will not be provided, but a large window opening is available to use a boom lift as needed.

Regarding pricing and other terms, the state will not allow substitutions or alternates for the specified materials. The bid request is for raw particle board blanks, and the state has clarified the required grades and sizes for the lumber. No other salient pricing, funding, or commercial terms were provided in the document.
