About this file

This document is an Addendum to a Maryland state and local contract opportunity for the purchase of 10' x 14' three-sided cedar camping shelters for the Department of Natural Resources Forest Service. The addendum provides responses to questions received regarding the specifications for the shelters, including the required grade of cedar lumber (Grade 1 with no knots), the footing requirements (10"x10"x14" and 10"x10"x12" pressure treated beams), and the overhang requirements (1.5 ft. on the eaves and 1 ft. on the gable ends). The addendum clarifies that no reinforcement bars or concrete will be required under the base beams, as the base is already in place.

The contract opportunity is for a statewide purchase of the camping shelters at a firm fixed price. The contract term and any renewal options are not specified in the provided information.
