About this file
This document is a Questions and Answers addendum for a fireworks contract, involving a state or local agency (potentially an agricultural or fairgrounds organization). The contract appears to cover fireworks displays over a four-year period, with an estimated total budget of $80,000. The launch site is located in the infield of a one-mile track, and the fireworks shows are not choreographed to musical scores. Bids must be submitted electronically through Bid Buy, with responses required to follow the platform's standard submission procedures, including pricing in the Items Tab and contract attachment.
The document reveals that the agency has historically hosted fireworks annually and is seeking a new vendor. Specific details about the previous vendor's pricing are deliberately withheld. The solicitation allows for electronic bid submission, with an emphasis on thoroughly reading and signing the contract. While the document suggests openness to potential alternative performance options like drone shows, the agency explicitly states that future bid solicitation details cannot be discussed. A map of the launch site is expected to be uploaded to Bid Buy in the near future. The $80,000 budget is an estimate for the entire four-year contract period, not a per-show or annual limit.
