About this file

This document includes a Question and Answer (Q&A) exchange between the Illinois Department of Innovation and Technology (DoIT) and potential vendors regarding a state and local contract opportunity for custom property control tags.

The contract opportunity is for a 5-year master contract with a maximum potential spend of $60,000 for white polyester barcoded labels in two colors, black/purple, with custom serialization. The labels are to be 1.75 inch wide by 0.625 inch tall, with a minimum thickness of 0.002 inches, and have permanent MC78 adhesive. Pricing is to include all fees, such as shipping and customization. Previous orders have ranged from 15,000 to 50,000 tags per order, but this is not a guarantee of future order quantities. The barcodes must be sequential, starting with a provided number, and each tag number must be accurate and intact.
