About this file
This document is a Bid Questions and Responses document from the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) for Invitation to Bid (ITB) Number DOT-ITB-26-3004-SC, dated July 18, 2025, regarding a Truck Mounted Dump Body with Fold Down/Drop Down Sides procurement. The document contains a specific bid clarification addressing a vendor's question about the scope of the quote, with FDOT explicitly confirming that the truck chassis will be supplied by the department and picked up from District-3 headquarters for installation at the awarded vendor's site.
The bid documentation indicates that the procurement is specifically for dump body equipment, with the vehicle chassis being provided separately by FDOT. The response references Exhibit A Section 1.3 to provide clarity on the equipment procurement process, suggesting a structured approach to acquiring specialized transportation equipment. While this specific document is a brief questions and responses sheet, it provides insight into the department's procurement methodology for specialized vehicular equipment.
