About this file

This document is a Qualification Form related to a state and local contract opportunity posted by the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (DNR) for goat grazing services at Flandrau State Park in Brown County. The DNR is seeking bids for labor, equipment, materials, tools, transportation, and incidentals necessary for prescribed rotational goat grazing on 45.3 acres to reduce the density of woody shrubs and invasive plants. The contract requires a minimum herd size of 70 meat goats, with an option to increase up to 90 goats. All responses must be submitted electronically through the Swift Portal, and the contract term is 158 days.

The bid specifications state that the unit price must include all costs such as labor, materials, tools, transportation, equipment, taxes, and any other necessary items for project completion. The award will be made to the lowest responsible vendor meeting the specifications and all terms and conditions. The State reserves the right to award items separately, by grouping items, or by total, whichever is deemed most advantageous.
