About this file
This is a Delivery Schedule document for FCI Leavenworth's food service operations for FY 27 Quarter 1. All products must be delivered within 21 days after receipt of order (ARO), with deliveries strictly limited to between 7:00 am and 2:00 pm CST. Federal holidays are excluded from acceptable delivery dates. Prior to any delivery, contractors must contact the Food Service Warehouse at (913) 682-8700 ext: 1318 to pre-arrange and receive approval for delivery schedules.
All deliveries must be palletized and subject to strict inspection and temperature controls: non-frozen perishable foods must arrive between 34°F and 41°F, canned goods above 34°F and not frozen, and frozen foods at 0°F or below with no evidence of prior thawing. Certified religious diet items must display the Kosher Symbol on individual packages or be refused. The Government reserves the right to conditionally receive items for up to three days for examination and testing, including thawing and cooking when necessary. Items failing to meet specifications will be refused, and the contractor must pick up non-conforming products within two weeks at vendor expense or face warehouse disposal. Failure to meet delivery schedules without excusable delay or failure to conform to specifications will negatively impact the contractor's past performance rating and may affect future contract awards and responsibility determinations.
