About this file

This is a Price-Cost Schedule for flat grave marker trimming and edging services at Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne, Massachusetts. The contract covers a one-year base period with four one-year renewal options. As of April 1, 2026, the cemetery estimates approximately 56,783 flat grave markers requiring maintenance, with an anticipated addition of approximately 1,200 markers annually. Roadway curb lines and sidewalks total an estimated 39,400 linear feet. All contractors must comply with SCA Wage Determination 2015-4045 Rev. 34.

The price schedule includes five contract line items (CLINs) for the base year covering four cycles of flat grave marker trimming using gasoline-powered weed eaters with trimming line, one cycle of edging using a gasoline-powered string trimmer with metal blade attachment (applicable only in option years), and curb line trimming of cemetery curb lines, sidewalks, and roadways twice annually—with the first trim in May before Memorial Day and the second in October. The contractor must furnish all labor, supervision, equipment, tools, materials, and supplies necessary for service delivery. Quantities increase by 1,200 flat markers annually across the option years (Option Year I: 57,983 markers; Option Year II: 59,183 markers; Option Year III: 60,383 markers; Option Year IV: 61,583 markers). Bidders must complete all unit costs and total costs for each CLIN period to calculate the grand total cost for the base year plus all option years.
