About this file
This document is a Questions and Answers file for Solicitation #5610 for Landscaping Materials for Tahoma National Cemetery. The Q&A addresses three key vendor inquiries: delivery fees, material specifications, and potential material substitutions. The government responses clarify that vendor pricing should be all-inclusive, updated material specifications will be provided, and any proposed material substitutions must be submitted to and approved by the contracting officer prior to delivery.
Specifically, vendors asked about substituting drain rock sizes (5/8" to 7/8" and 1" to 1.5" round) and a lawn mix (Bio-soil from Cedar Grove with 60% sand/40% compost). The government's responses indicate strict adherence to specifications, with a requirement that vendors must obtain explicit approval for any proposed material substitutions. This Q&A document provides clarification to potential bidders about the solicitation's material requirements and submission process.
