These vehicles will be subject to source inspection by the Government prior to their acceptance and release for shipment. All requests for inspections sent to GSA Vehicle Purchasing’s Industrial Operations

Analysts (IOAs) must include a firm list of vehicles to be inspected. The applicable order number and VIN number for each vehicle to be inspected must be included. Vehicles may not be added to an inspection request once the IOA has scheduled a visit unless approved by the IOA. The IOA reserves the right to formally reject and assess re-inspection charges to any vehicle listed on the formal inspection list that was removed without approval or not presented for inspection on the confirmed visit date.

D. NAICS: 336112 – Light Truck & Utility Vehicle Manufacturing Per SBA size standards, NAICS code 336112 Light Truck & Utility Vehicle Manufacturing has a small business size standard of 1,500 employees. SBA has granted a class waiver to the non-manufacturer rule for NAICS 336112, meaning a small business offeror does not have to supply the product of a small business manufacturer. This condition applies to firms submitting quotes under the following NAICS codes:

423110 – Automobile and Other Motor Vehicle Merchant Wholesalers 441110 – New Car Dealers

Per SBA guidance, these NAICS codes shall not be used to classify Government acquisitions for supplies. They also shall not be used by Federal government contractors when subcontracting for the acquisition for supplies. The applicable manufacturing NAICS code shall be used to classify acquisitions for supplies. Therefore, NAICS code 336112 is used to classify this acquisition, with a small business size standard of 1,500 employees for manufacturers and 500 or fewer employees for non-manufacturers.
