About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document for a federal contract opportunity issued by the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Indian Head Division (NSWC IHD), solicitation number N00174-26-SIMACQ-W2-0006, for AV Maintenance services in Conference Room Q. The requirement covers maintenance for one conference room with audiovisual equipment. Quote submissions are due March 4th, 2026. A Secret security clearance is required for unescorted access to the restricted area housing the room, though site visits are not permitted by the government. The incumbent contractor is LSVI Corporation.
The equipment was originally installed in August 2022 by LSVI Corporation and is believed to be out of manufacturer warranty, as typical 3-year warranties would have expired. The previous service contract ended around Summer 2025, prompting this new maintenance requirement. The room is currently operational as designed. Over the past year, only one minor component failure requiring replacement has occurred. Equipment details, original bill of materials, existing equipment lists, and operational/training manuals are referenced in attachments. The government does not have access to control codes such as Crestron programming.

Do you know if any of the equipment is still under manufacturer warranty? If so, can you please provide the POP dates. If your equipment is no longer covered, can you please let me know when the manufacturer warranties expired?
As the main component manufacturers usually offer a 3-year factory warranty, I believe it to be out of warranty on most (if not all) the main items. I believe the items were installed on or about August of 2022.
If you do not know the status of the manufacturer warranties, can you please provide the month and year when the equipment was originally installed and the name of the company that did the install?
Install was done on or about August of 2022 by LVSI corporation.
How often in the past year have you had to submit a service ticket and repair/replace equipment?
One time for a minor component failure/replacement.
Are you covered under a service contract now? If not, when is the last time the equipment was covered under a service contract?
The service contract has ended. Thus, our need for a new maintenance contract. The last service was roughly Summer 2025.
Are you able to provide the original bill of materials for the system? If not – can we send someone out to make a list?
