About this file

This document contains a question and answer file related to a Notice of Funding Opportunity from the Department of State. The NOFO seeks applications from organizations to support Small Business Development Centers in Central America to build the capacity of local small businesses. Eligible applicants must be independent entities and cannot be financially supported by the central governments of Northern Central America countries. This eligibility would also apply to any sub-awardees proposed. The funding opportunity involves a cooperative agreement under the Bureau of Western Hemisphere Affairs Grant Programs CFDA number 19.750 to strengthen inclusive small business growth. The goal is to enhance economic resilience, foster small business development, and promote regional stability in Central America by supporting Small Business Development Centers to become sustainable and better able to serve local markets.
