About this file

This document is a Question and Answer (Q&A) No. 1 related to Request for Proposal (RFP) #DOT-RFP-24-4006-CO issued by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) - District Four for Districtwide Title Search and Examination Services. The RFP requests competitive sealed bids, proposals, or replies for these services, with an opening date of 11-20-2023. The contract term is for 5 years with a renewal option. The Q&A provides answers to various questions related to the certifications, pricing, reports, and scope of work. It also confirms this is an RFP, not a bid, and that there are Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) utilization goals to be met. Additionally, the Q&A indicates the work will primarily be performed in Broward, Palm Beach, Martin, St. Lucie, and Indian River Counties, with occasional research required in adjacent counties.

The pricing is to be provided on an Exhibit C - Price Proposal Form, which includes separate tabs for each of the five district counties and adjoining counties, as well as electronic processing and a summary grand total. The vendor must be registered in MyFloridaMarketplace and properly licensed if the business requires licensing by the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation. The contract will be subject to the MFMP Transaction Fee, and vendors on the Scrutinized Companies Lists may be prohibited from bidding.
