About this file

This document is an addendum to an Invitation to Bid (ITB) issued by the City of Norcross, Georgia for the Pinnacle Park Dredging project. The addendum provides responses to questions received from potential bidders and clarifies key details about the project scope and requirements.

The project involves hydraulic dredging and sediment removal from Pinnacle Park's pond. The depth of the pond is 4 to 7 feet, with approximately 4 feet of sediment to be dredged. The preferred methods are hydraulic dredging and using geotextile tubes for dewatering. Subcontracting the sediment removal is not allowed, and the general contractor must perform all aspects of the project. There are no wage requirements or drawings provided, but the city will meet with bidders on-site to show the dredging area. The work hours allowed are 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Monday through Friday. The last time the pond was dredged was in 2017, and non-potable water will be available on-site at no charge for the contractor's use.
