About this file
This document is a Questions & Answers (Q&A) file for Solicitation 25-011 involving Blodgett Convention Ovens, issued by Cherry Creek School District #5 in Colorado. The solicitation concerns the procurement of four convection ovens, with a specific delivery and installation protocol for each oven. For the fourth delivery location (Student Nutrition Center in Centennial, CO), the district clarified that the oven will be initially delivered and stocked for emergency replacement purposes, with future installation, removal, and disposal of the old oven to occur when needed at a specific school site.
The Q&A document addresses a specific vendor inquiry about delivery and installation requirements, providing detailed guidance about the staged approach to oven procurement and replacement. The district indicates flexibility in potential future purchasing, noting the option to acquire additional ovens beyond the initial four at the vendor's submitted pricing. The document suggests a strategic approach to equipment replacement for the district's food service infrastructure, with careful planning for logistics, delivery, and eventual equipment swap-out.

Q2 Question: Delivery/ Installation
For the fourth delivery address (Student Nutrition Center 14270 E. Briarwood Ave, Centennial, CO
80112,) I see there is a lifegate. Do you need installation/ removal/ disposal? Please clarify, as if it is not needed, we can save lots of money on this project.
Answer: No installation, removal, or disposal at this location at this time - Oven is to be delivered to
Student Nutrition Center for stock in case of emergency replacement. Then when needed, taken to a school, uncrated and installed. At that time, we would need the old oven uninstalled, removed, hauled away and disposed. Along with the crate the oven was delivered in.
