About this file

This document is a Questions & Answers (Q&A) document for Solicitation 94-25, issued by the City of Peoria for the procurement of a used 40-foot shipping container. The solicitation includes two clarifying questions from potential bidders regarding container specifications and delivery requirements.

The first question addresses container height, noting the availability of 8'6" standard and 9'6" high cube containers, to which the City of Peoria responded that they have no preference. The second question pertains to delivery logistics, specifically asking about the ability to lift the 8,800-pound container off a chassis or the need for roll-off delivery. The City explicitly stated that they require roll-off delivery, with the understanding that the Landoll roll-off truck is 78 feet long and needs 120 feet of straight, hard, level ground to complete the drop-off. The Q&A document is dated 08/21/2025 and provides critical operational details for potential bidders.
