About this file
This document is a Questions & Answers (Q&A) file for Solicitation 2022-0101, a Request for Proposal issued by the City of Rio Communities in New Mexico. The Q&A document addresses two key questions from potential bidders: one regarding mandatory requirements for attorneys' documentation and another concerning certification in local government law. For the mandatory requirements, the city indicates that attorneys' certificates and licenses will be sufficient to prove Juris Doctor status and state bar membership. Regarding the local government law certification, the city acknowledged that the New Mexico State Bar does not currently offer such a certification and has modified the requirement from mandatory to desired.
The Q&A document does not provide comprehensive pricing, funding, or contract details, but it is part of the broader Request for Proposal (RFP) seeking legal services for the City of Rio Communities. The RFP seeks a law firm to manage city-related legal matters, with a contract duration of one year and potential automatic renewals for up to three additional one-year terms. The proposal submission deadline was set for September 8, 2022, at 11:00 am MST, with a non-mandatory pre-proposal conference held on August 25, 2022. Interested bidders were required to register and submit proposals through the BidNetDirect platform.
