About this file

This document is Addendum #1 for the City of Rio Communities' Legal Services Request for Proposal (RFP) 2022-0101, which replaces the current Appendix F with two new certification forms related to business preferences. The first form is a Resident Veterans Preference Certification that allows businesses to declare their annual revenue and claim corresponding preference discounts (10% for revenues under $1M, 8% for revenues between $1M-$5M, and 7% for revenues over $5M). Businesses must also agree to report awarded contract amounts to the State Purchasing Division and understand that providing false information constitutes a crime.

The second form is a New Mexico Business Preference Certification that allows businesses to indicate whether they have a qualifying New Mexico Preference Certification. For resident veteran or Native American resident veteran businesses with annual gross revenues up to $6 million, the public body will award an additional 10% weight in proposal evaluations. Businesses must declare under penalty of perjury that their statements are true, with the understanding that false statements constitute a crime. The representations made on these forms are material and subject to review, protest, and potential denial or revocation of award if found to be incorrect.
