NOTICE TO PROSPECTIVE BIDDERS
DECEMBER 4, 2024
To All Prospective Bidders:
DWR received the following question for IFB No. 10205431, Roll-Up Door Maintenance Services:
Q1. Can we renew the performance and payment bond yearly? This is why we didn’t submit a bid last time. The bonding company said that’s how they’re doing it for long Maintenance contracts.
A1. Please refer to the bid checklist, page 17, “Documents Required Upon Contractor Selection/Bid Award for Payment and Performance Bond instructions”. The bonds must be equal to 100% of the contract amount. They cannot be split up by year.
