About this file
The document is a set of Questions and Answers (#1) related to a Request for Proposal (RFP) from the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) for District Five Cafeteria Services. The RFP seeks proposals from qualified vendors to provide cafeteria services at the FDOT District Office located in DeLand, Florida. The RFP includes details such as the ability for the awarded vendor to add additional equipment, grill on-site, access the cafe after hours and on weekends, and decorate the cafe. The RFP also specifies that the cafe is not open to the public and must close when the building closes, with the exception of allowing the vendor to access the cafe for prep, cleaning, or service. The RFP is due on May 31, 2022 by 2:00 PM.
The document also provides details on the applicable civil rights laws and regulations the awarded vendor must comply with, as well as the requirement to cooperate with the Inspector General. Pricing terms, set asides, and funding sources are not explicitly covered in the Q&A document, but the RFP indicates the project is for cafeteria services at the FDOT District Office.
