About this file
This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) file for a Replacement Furniture contract for Buildings 327/328 with the 90th Contracting Squadron. The solicitation is a 100% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set-aside for furniture replacement, with a preferred project completion timeline of 120 days from Award Receipt Order (ARO). Key requirements include a 1-for-1 desk replacement, furniture removal and disposal, on-site assembly, and specific design considerations previously communicated to the contracting squadron. Detailed specifications cover items like reception desks, lecterns (with Department of Air Force seal), personal tower storage, and U-shaped workstations, with flexibility for potential substitute designs pending additional product views and comparisons.
The document reveals specific installation parameters such as ramp access for delivery, 1-2 stairs at access points, no electrical/data cabling requirements, and no need for outdoor furniture. Vendors are encouraged to conduct a site survey, and point of contact (POC) will be provided during installation. The contracting squadron has previously shared comprehensive documentation regarding materials, certifications, safety standards, and installation access times, which potential bidders should reference for complete project details.
