About this file

The document provided is a Q&A document related to a police supplies contract opportunity issued by the State of Illinois (JPMC Police Supplies 20-416CMS-BOSS4-B-14987). The contract covers various police equipment and supplies including tactical holsters, gas mask pouches, expandable batons, and other related items. The contract has a fulfillment timeline requirement of 5-15 days, though the vendor notes this may be challenging for certain mandated manufacturer items. The state is open to substitutions if the vendor can show exceptions. The contract allows for purchase orders to be placed directly by end-user agencies through the state's BidBuy procurement system. Bidders are required to follow the specifications outlined in Section A.22.1.5 of the Invitation for Bid (IFB) document.

Regarding pricing, the state has not provided current manufacturer information or pricing details. Vendors are advised to submit a FOIA request to obtain historical purchase order details. The state is open to alternative products that may be of lower price and quality than the specified ASP baton, provided they meet the requirements. Overall, this contract covers a range of essential police supplies for the state of Illinois.
