About this file

This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) file for Solicitation No. FSG-RFP-24/25-1006 issued by the Division of the Florida State Guard, addressing uniform apparel and component procurement. The solicitation seeks vendors to provide digital camouflage uniforms and related components, with an initial order of 1,200 complete uniform sets due within 15 months and the remaining 5,000 sets due within 24 months. The contract will be a two-year base period with the ability to renew for three additional one-year periods. Vendors can manufacture uniforms in countries like Bangladesh and Taiwan per the Trade Agreement Act, but not in Pakistan, and must comply with specific technical specifications detailed in the RFP.

Pricing terms are set at net 30 days, with all purchases F.O.B. destination and transportation charges prepaid. No annual price increases will be allowed during the contract term. Vendors are expected to carry inventory and provide a field representative for site service calls. The procurement requires vendors to submit detailed documentation, including references and past performance information. The estimated expenditure is approximately $100,000, with purchases to be made on an as-needed basis. Minimum order quantities will apply for fill-in orders, with an expected lead time of 60 days unless specifically approved by the Division.
