RFI # 243 - DCSS California State Disbursement Unit (SDU) Questions and Answers
Line No. Contractor Questions RFI Section DCSS Response
If this RFI greenlights a competitive solicitation for these services, what would the anticipated procurement timeline look like?
The purpose of the RFI is to perform market research by soliciting information from qualifying vendors to assist the State in determining what is currently available in the marketplace for the services described herein. This RFI is solely for information gathering and planning purposes and will not result in a solicitation.
The RFI document states that the incumbent contract from 2019 is currently set to expire in August, 2026, meaning the contract has currently utilized one of its two 2-year extension options. May vendors utilize their own response template as long as we include and follow the content provided in DCSS’s RFI 243 Attachment A – Vendor Profile, Attachment B – Experience/Qualifications, and Attachment C – Questionnaire?
Section C.1, C.3, We request that all vendors utilize the provided DCSS templates—Attachment A: Vendor Profile, Attachment B:
Experience/Qualifications, and Attachment C: Questionnaire—to ensure consistency and ease of review. Following the specified format helps us evaluate all responses efficiently and fairly. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
Is DCSS wanting vendors to provide their responses directly into the multi-page “DCSS_RFI_243_A_B_C_Attachments” document that was included with the RFI?
Section C.1, C.3, Yes.
Please provide the last two years of transaction volumes for receipts and disbursements by payment type and customer service call volumes, if available. This information will help the Vendor understand the overall project scope to provide its Voluntary Cost Information.
