About this file
This is a Request for Information (RFI 243) from a state Department of Child Support Services seeking information about tools and services for operating a State Disbursement Unit that processes $2.7 billion in child support payments annually. The RFI focuses on seven key areas: processing child support payments, integration of payment options, integration of disbursement options, customer service, document imaging and data repository, personal and financial data security, and fraud detection and prevention. The RFI requires vendors to provide detailed information about their experience, qualifications, and toolsets for each of the seven focus areas, including whether their tools are proprietary, third-party COTS, or freeware. Vendors must also provide three client references from the past 24 months, preferably from state agencies or large cities/counties. The document includes questionnaires about assumptions, limitations, recent improvements in payment processing, security measures, customer service enhancements, and continuous process improvement plans. Vendors currently on State Leverage Procurement Agreements are asked to list their agreement numbers and available products/services.
