About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document from the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) regarding eRFP 48400-DOT0003184 for the T32 - Traffic Monitoring Program Data, initially posted on 1/8/2025. The document contains 20 questions and answers covering technical specifications and requirements for the traffic monitoring system, including data migration of 26 billion IVR records, historic data, and annual statistics to the proposed Traffic Data Management System (TDMS). Key operational details specify that all sites operate with solar power and cellular modems, with no land line modems in use.
The pricing structure requires costs to be provided per unit of measure as detailed in the Scope of Work, with GDOT intending to use the pricing for the entire term subject to future price increase amendments. Data Management System items (lines 3a-3c, 4a, and 5a-5e) are to be billed as monthly maintenance fees. The document clarifies that supplemental staffing is not required, and GDOT will pay for cellular data services. Bidders may submit any documentation to support their bid, though GDOT does not advise on specific documentation requirements beyond what is provided in the Exhibits and attachments. Any deadline extensions will be posted to the Georgia Procurement Registry as an Addendum.
