The contractor is responsible for labor, driver training, vehicle cleaning, customer service operations, and employee insurance. Current driver wages are $16 per hour with $16.50 for paratransit drivers; no living wage ordinance or union representation applies. Starting driver shortages have not caused service disruptions, though safety data shows 32 motor vehicle accidents and 21 incidents over three years (2023-2025), with liquidated damages to be negotiated during contract finalization.
