About this file

This is a Questions and Answers document for DQ 2026-0446, a Fresh Egg Order solicitation issued by the State of Colorado. The document addresses vendor inquiries regarding disclosure requirements, insurance submission procedures, and scope of work definitions for the competitive bidding process.

Key clarifications provided in the Q&A include: (1) any services performed outside the United States or Colorado must be disclosed, including delivery transit of products to state facilities; (2) vendors must submit current insurance policies with each solicitation, as each DQ number constitutes a new procurement even if the products remain the same; and (3) product production activities fall within the disclosure requirements of Exhibit E. These responses establish that vendors have comprehensive disclosure obligations encompassing not only service delivery and support functions but also manufacturing and logistics operations associated with the fresh egg supply contract.

Questions & Answers: DQ 2026-0446 Fresh Egg Order

1. Exhibit E: Question 2 states "Type of Service(s) Performed Outside of the U.S. or Colorado. Describe all services to be performed (e.g. Software, Hosting, Technical & Product Support, Server & Monitoring System, Design & Development, etc.)." Does this include delivery transit for the products we provide to your facilities? - Answer: If any service is performed outside of the U.S. or Colorado it must be disclosed.

2. For Attachment 2 - Insurance: Will we need to submit our insurance policies each time we submit a solicitation, or will this be on file after submission?

Answer: Yes you will need to submit your insurance each time because it is a different DQ even though it is for the same products it is still a new DQ solicitation so we would need your insurance each time.

3. Regarding Exhibit E, does this also include product production?

Answer: Yes this does include product production as well.
